The Model 160 continues the well-known series of AMEL digital conductivitymeters, placing itself proudly at the top of the international production while setting new quality standards in the field of precision conductometric measurements.
The analogue section for the signal processing which takes advantage of the exclusive phase locked circuit which has been so successful on previous models granting unrivalled accuracy and noise rejection, has been retained in concept while benefiting from the most advanced components available today.
Among the most important characteristics, it is worth noting: a dual-display to read conductivity and temperature at the same time. The auto-ranging feature, which grants always the best resolution possible. The possibility to refer the conductivity measurement to any temperature. The possibility to calculate automatically the variation coefficient of an unknown solution between any two temperatures limits. The possibility to specify the cell constant (K) in order to read directly specific conductivity. The RS-232 interface which has the dual function of direct output to an impact printer or for computer connection. The analogue output for strip-chart recorders. Numeric values as well as the operating parameters, are entered with a fully-sealed membrane keyboard which has both a tactile feel and an audible response. Two large 7-segment LCD displays give a clear presentation of data. Active functions and the operating modes are immediately indicated by a series of LED enunciators.
